Think a pricey airport cab is your only ride into town? Think again.

If your jaw hits the Arrivals-level sidewalk every time the cabbie tells you the fare to downtown, read on. The following strategies for 21 WestJet airports will keep your travel dollars where they belong, whether in Vegas slots or in your Hawaiian shirt pocket for that second mai tai at sunset.

Wheeled Steals
Shuttle: $9 The Go Airport Shuttle goes almost around the clock (except from 2 a.m. – 5 a.m.). Grab it at the Arrivals level to Fort Lauderdale or, for $18, all the way to Miami Beach.
Public Transit: $3 Catch a free Tri-Rail shuttle bus at the Arrivals level between 4:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. for a quick ride to the train station where you buy your ticket and head to Fort Lauderdale. About 30 shuttles leave the airport during weekdays.
